On August 25, the 2016 List of Shanghai's Top 100 Companies was released by Shanghai Enterprise Confederation, Shanghai Enterprise Directors Association and Shanghai Federation of Economic Organizations. This year, USI was ranked 39th place on the 2016 List of Shanghai's Top 100 Companies.

The list is based on companies' revenues in 2015, and the minimum threshold for any finalist was RMB 3.88 billion, up by 4.9% from last year's RMB 3.7 billion. From this year's finalists, it can be seen that there're increases in terms of metrics such as revenue, net profit, total assets, owner's equity, total tax payment, and R&D expenses, and that those companies are still expanding their business sizes. Together with the release of the 2016 List of Shanghai's Top 100 Companies, the List of Shanghai's Top 100 Manufacturers, the List of Shanghai's Top 100 Service Providers, the List of Shanghai's Top 100 Private Companies, the List of Shanghai's Top 50 Private Manufacturers, and the List of Shanghai's Top 50 Private Service Providers were announced. USI was also included on the 2016 List of Shanghai's Top 100 Manufacturers.
