USI Won 2020 SGS CSR Annual Sustainable Elite Award
(2020-09-30 Shanghai) USI (SSE: 601231) has been devoted to practice corporate social responsibility all along. Following being rated BB in MSCI ESG, USI has been awarded "2020 SGS CSR Annual Sustainable Elite Award."
"SGS 2020 Corporate Management Annual Meeting and CSR Awards Ceremony" was held by SGS Taiwan branch in NTUH International Convention Center recently. The winner of "Sustainable Elite Award" was selected via evaluating from overall aspects, including the evaluation of international awards, and top 15% performance of corporate governance. The mission of USI in promoting corporate sustainability has received attention and recognition from the third-party certification company. USI stood out from hundreds of companies in Taiwan this year and was affirmed in its performance of sustainability.
For years, USI has received recognition for fulfilling corporate social responsibility. In recent years, USI has established five sustainable teams including Corporate Governance, Green Product and Innovation, Value Chain Management, Employee Care and Social Involvement, and Environment Protection and Occupational Safety, integrating three issues which are environment, social and governance (ESG). USI looks forward to taking practicing corporate social responsibility into account while providing high quality products and services, pursuing the vision of sustainable development.
