USI to reveal its Windows 10 IoT Enterprise Module at Embedded World 2019
(2019-02-21, Shanghai) At Embedded World 2019, USI (SSE: 601231), a giant electronics designer and manufacturer in the world, will announce their new system on module, the USI SOM850, powered by the powerful Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ SDM850 processor with power efficient, instant-on and always-connected cellular with multiple carrier certifications already completed. Supporting full compatibility with the Windows 10 ecosystem, the USI SOM850 is designed to enable IoT industrial device manufacturers to create their own vertical IoT products, providing connectivity to cloud computing.
Based on years of experience in design and verification of system function modules and advanced semiconductor packaging processes, by integrating multiple functional circuit modules, USI has developed SOM850 modularized products which can be applied to a powerful line of business applications and perform specialized functions in a secure, reliable, and streamlined way to meet vertical industrial demands. Leveraging the USI SOM850 design running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise enables OEMs to quickly create high-performance devices that deliver a familiar and secure experience to their industrial application products scenarios including:

From 26th February to 28th February, the USI SOM850 is being showcased in Embedded World 2019 at Microsoft booth 4-422 and also Qualcomm booth Hall 4A #330 where guests can experience the design to support vertical products.
USI SOM850 platform is expected to be available by Q4 in 2019.
