The 2nd Cross-Strait Student Baseball League midfielder rematch was held at Taichung opened at the baseball field of the National Taiwan University of Sport on July 27. USI and Parent Company ASE Group Co-Sponsored Cross-Strait Student Baseball League
The second Cross-Strait Student Baseball League held its opening ceremony in Beijing on April 4. USI and its parent company, ASE Group, co-sponsored this student sport event for the second year. Twenty cross-strait baseball teams from universities competed in the three-day second round tournament at the Beijing Fengtai Baseball Field. Qualcomm and USI Enter Agreement to Form Joint Venture for Semiconductor Module Factory in Brazil
In São Paulo today Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, and Universal Scientific Industrial (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (USI), a subsidiary of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASE), signed an agreement to form a joint venture. This joint venture, which remains subject to various closing conditions, would focus on an installation of a semiconductor module facility in São Paulo dedicated to the design, development and fabrication of modules and components for smartphones and IoT devices in Brazil.
