Regulations Abidance
USI has devoted itself to maintaining the corporate image for years and strictly complied with national or international laws and regulations related to corporate governance, financial management, intellectual property, green environmental protection and safety rules, labor rights, fair market competition, and data privacy protection. We also cherish customer value, rights, and interests. For any negative impact on corporate image or violation of the laws and regulations, a task force will be formed by USI to take countermeasures. By the end of 2024, USI had not received any significant fines or penalties, nor had it engaged in any activities related to violation of insider trading prohibition, anti-corruption/anti-bribery, antitrust/anti-monopoly, etc. And we did not use collected personal data for any secondary purposes other than the specific purposes for which the personal data was first collected, and there were no incidents of infringement of data subjects’ rights, and no incidents of data leakage or data loss.
- USI has a Policy on Protection of Privacy and Personal Data in accordance with China Personal Information Protection Law, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and other applicable laws and regulations on the protection of privacy and personal data in the United States and other countries or regions where USI or its affiliates operate, to guide and manage the compliance by USI.
- USI places strong emphasis on business ethics and integrity. USI has established and implemented an Anti-Bribery Policy to regulate the conduct of USI, its employees, and business partners, and to uphold the principles of honesty, integrity, and compliance. USI strictly complies with applicable anti-bribery laws and regulations, including the Criminal Law and Anti-Unfair Competition Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Criminal Code of Taiwan, the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and the U.K. Bribery Act. USI adopts a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of bribery, corruption, and improper benefit transfers, whether conducted directly or indirectly, and prohibits offering or accepting anything that may improperly influence business decisions or the impartial performance of duties. USI has established robust internal controls, training, and reporting mechanisms. Employees are required to follow compliance procedures when handling gifts and hospitality, and regular training is conducted to strengthen anti-bribery awareness. USI also encourages employees and stakeholders to report any violations through established reporting channels, and provides strong protection for whistleblowers, ensuring that business dealings remain fair, transparent, and conducted with integrity.
