True Wireless Stereo: Why is it essential for you if you hate wires?


In 2021, every tech-genius or tech and gadget selling company is trying to compile everything in the wireless form to reduce the space they consume and to improve the user experience by increasing usability. Many wireless earbuds, including Apple EarPods, have experienced explosive growth since 2016, and still, it's one of the fastest-growing products. 

What is true wireless stereo technology, or what is TWS technology? 

True Wireless Stereo (TWS) is a technology that uses Bluetooth signals instead of wires to transfer sound. This thoughtful exchange of data helps the cradle know about the earbuds' battery status and decide for itself if the earbuds require charging or not at the said moment. This recharging process, which is continuous, is necessary because of the always-on Microcontroller Unit (MCU) due to the quiescent current consumption of the MCU. 

Alternatively, if the earbuds know about the charging cradle's low battery status, they can automatically inform the user via Bluetooth notification. An intelligent connection, automatic start-up, and pairing would help enhance usability and user experience. 

If the charging cradle informs the earbud that the cradle's lid has been opened the earbuds can wake themselves up from their sleep mode and prepare the Bluetooth pairing process without the user pressing a button to perform the same range of functions.
